Wine Tasting Benefit for CFC International in Emmett’s Honor

Emmett is an amazing boy who loves to dance, play with cars, and has a very rare disease. In fact he’s one of 420 in the entire world (one of 7 in Florida) with a genetic disorder called CFC Syndrome, a condition that typically affects the heart (cardio-), facial features (facio-) and skin (cutaneous). Emmett has two severe heart lesions – hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and pulmonary stenosis; cerebral palsy, PVL of the brain, developmental disability and seizures. He’s two now, but in his first year of life he spent more days in the hospital than at home.

CFC International, a non-profit organization, works hard with families whose children have CFC Syndrome to help pay for treatment, research and trips to see doctors that have knowledge of the disease. Many of the families affected by CFC face severe financial hardship from the care and treatment of their children.

Please join us Wednesday March 9th from 6-8pm for a special evening of wine in benefit for the CFC International in Emmett’s honor. We will be tasting 15 of my newest, favorite wines in the store. Dan from Eat This! will be providing us with his amazing charcuterie board and other tasty bites. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 the day of with all proceeds benefiting CFC International. Email indicating how many tickets you would like and I will email you an invoice through Square. It’s super easy and convenient. You can also stop by the store for tickets or call 727-826-0791. Must be 21 to attend.

Wow! What a crowd. We raised $1,710 in ticket sales and another $1,300 in the raffle and additional donations. Thanks to all who attended.
