Springtime Whites – Friday April 7th, 6-9pm
First Friday April 7th in the 6-9pm window we are tasting springtime whites: a dry, crisp Loire Muscadet, a tasty Sauvignon Blanc from Uruguay, a crowd-pleaser French Sauv Blanc, a mineral driven Spanish Verdejo, a rare dry white from Argentina and a fruity, clean Portuguese Alvarinho. This tasting is $14/person. Must be 21 to attend.

Hot New Wines – Friday April 14th, 6-9pm
Friday April 14th in the 6-9pm window we are tasting my hottest new wines: a dry Pinot Noir Rosé from Argentina, a delicious Old Vine Spanish Grenache, an unfiltered, dry, Frizzante Prosecco that drinks like a sour beer, the Spumante Prosecco from the same winery, a chillable, rustic, dry Chilean red and a semi-sparkling Orange wine from Greece (made from grapes, not oranges). Todd’s Bubbly B-Day Tasting – Friday April 21st, 6-9pm
April 21st is my birthday so we’ll be tasting my favorite Bubbly 🥂 in the 6-9pm window: a rich Grand Cru Blanc De Noir Champagne, a gorgeous Premier Cru Champagne, a yeasty, funky French gem that drinks like Champagne for a third of the price, a dry, Loire Cab Franc based rosĂ©, a bone dry, crisp Cava and an unfiltered, bone-dry Prosecco that drinks like a sour beer. This tasting is $20 per person and includes a selection of fine cheeses 🧀. Must be 21 to attend. Cheers!

RosĂ© – Friday April 28th, 6-9pm
Friday April 28th in the 6-9pm window we are tasting dry rosé: a Mourvèdre based Bandol beauty, a delicious Pinot Noir rosé from Argentina, a classic from Provence, a full bodied, Argentinian Cab-Malbec rosé, a Portuguese Vinho Verde rosé and a sparkling Pinot Noir rosé. March Friday Wine Tastings

Red Blends – Friday March 3rd, 6-9pm

First Friday, March 3rd, in the 6-9pm window we are tasting Red Blends: a savory CĂ´tes du RhĂ´ne, a meaty yet clean French GSM, a South African Pinotage based Bordeaux-styled blend, a super-value Portuguese, a Loire Valley Pinot Noir/Gamay and a big, balanced Napa blend. This tasting is $15/person at the door. Must be 21 to attend.

Pinot Noir & Cabernet, Friday March 10th, 6-9pm
Grand Prix Weekend calls for some fast, curvy reds. Friday March 10th in the 6-9pm window we are tasting Pinot Noir & Cabernet: a racy red Burgundy, a delicious value Oregon Pinot, a bold, heady California Pinot, a 2010 Southern Tuscany Cabernet, a gorgeous French Cab and a suave Paso Robles Cabernet. Bubbly – Friday March 17th, 6-9pm
St. Patrick’s Day at Winesmith is, of course, a sparkling wine tasting. Friday March 17th in the 6-9pm window we are tasting Bubbly: a bone dry, crisp Cava, a refreshing, not-too-sweet Prosecco, a full and lush Cremant de Limoux, a Cabernet based French RosĂ©, a Pinot Noir based beauty from Tasmania and a rich Pinot Menuier based Champagne. Crisp, Dry Whites – Friday March 24th, 6-9pm
Friday March 24th in the 6-9pm window we are tasting Crisp, Dry Whites: a high-acid Alsatian Riesling, a mineral driven Spanish Verdejo, a serious white Rioja, a rare German Elbling, a dry, finely textured Cava and a bone dry Australian Riesling. This tasting is $16 at the door. Must be 21 to attend.

Rocking $14.99 Wines – Friday March 31st, 6-9pm
I love finding great $14.99 wines that drink over $20 retail.
Friday March 31st we are tasting wines that rock for $14.99: an impeccably balanced California Petite Syrah, a silky, smoky Tannat from Uruguay, a rustic French Malbec, a killer, unoaked French Cabernet, a big South African blend and a white Rioja that comes close to white Burgundy. This tasting is $15 at the door. Must be 21 to attend.

Little Light of Mine Benefit Wine Tasting – Wednesday, February 15th, 7-9pm

Little Light Of Mine provides complimentary photography services to families who have children fighting a life-threatening illness. They rely solely on donor support to fulfill their mission. Their photography services are offered to families receiving treatment at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, several local pediatriac hospice groups as well as The Children’s Dream Fund. Their 2017 goal is to make sure that every family in the Tampa Bay area faced with losing their child will be able to receive professional portraits from their team.
Please join us Wednesday February 15th, 7-9pm for an amazing tasting benefiting Little Light Of Mine. $30 for advanced tickets, $35 the day of and includes 15 wines plus charcuterie. 50% of the door and 10% of the wine sales during the tasting will benefit Ltitle Light of Mine. 2 Year Anniversary Tasting with Mallory Moyer Live – Friday August 19th, 7-10pm

imageTwo years down and hopefully many more to come. Please join us for Winsmith’s first ever live music and two year anniversary tasting. The wine tasting is 7-9pm; free music from 8-10pm. An elegant and enthralling nouveau folk and blues artist, Mallory captures audiences with her expressive lyricism and original soul. We will be tasting 15-20 of my personal favorites with charcuterie and other tasty bites from Dan.
