2009 John Robert Eppler Zinfandel St. Helena Napa Valley

Blackberry, black cherry, plum, cocoa and sweet spice scents with touch of cinnamon on the gorgeous, inviting nose. Elegant yet powerful. Damn, this is great Zin. Scents transition to the palate with tobacco, bracing minerals and orange zest flavors joining in.  So tasty. The mouthwatering, dry finish carries on for days with black cherry and mineral flavors. 15.3% alcohol and you’d never know it. Kudos to John Eppler on this amazing bottling. $31.99
